I truly believe that there is a paradox to the purpose of life. See if there is a Creator of some Degree, the average message sent across almost all religions is to learn and expand your mind, body and soul. Through growth in our Intellect, and in maturity. We go through the hardships of life because “they” sent it to make us stronger, as steel is not forged with a hug.
That being said, there is the reverse. What if there is no Creator? Well that is a real possibility. So if there isn't one then is there no purpose? Well the short answer is no? But that also being said isn't that kind of exciting. You have free will. You can choose what you do and who you become. But if there isn't a Creator then there are no morals to live by, what should we do?
This is how I have personally come to the conclusion of this Paradox. Now don't get me wrong as of writing this i'm just a 20 year old kid who is just living life, and is just as confused as the rest, but if there is the worst of the two and there is no Creator, then wouldn't it make sense to want to instill those said values more? Wouldn't we want to try and help the next generation so that they don't have to be in our shoes instead of putting them in worse ones?
In order to do that we must first start with ourselves though, because as MJ once said “I'm starting with the man in the mirror”. It is up to us to start changing our “ways”. How do we do that? Simple, by still living by those values. I know that I am a living being, and I personally have consciousness so therefore I could be known as having a soul right? So why shouldn't I learn more about My soul? I have a body so I should learn My limits, and I have a mind so I should expand it with knowledge to help others and potentially have a chain reaction to lifting the next generation.
Now finding a Passion in life is a whole other playing field. See, a passion is quite simple to find, as long as you’re looking. And in order to look you must do at least one of the following described purposes above. So why not try to do it all?
